Hi, I currently have the Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 4, I want to purchase a larger Pen Display, either the Huion GT-220, Ugee 2150 or the Wacom Cintiq 22 Touch. The specs on both my Surface Pro 2 and Surface Pro 4 are up to date and high end so I don't see the need to purchase another PC just for the larger Pen Display. Is it possible to connect the larger Pen Display to my Surface Pro 2? Will the drivers conflict? I was reading about the new Windows Ink on Windows 10 but it states that it only supports built in Windows apps, can it support graphic software such as Clip Studio Paint and Paint Tool Sai?If I can connect the larger Pen Display to my Surface Pro 2, can I install the Pen Display drivers? Will it conflict with the drivers of my Surface Pro 2?
How do I disable/uninstall the Pen drivers in my Surface Pro 2? I don't mind not being able to use touch and pen functionality in my Surface Pro 2, instead using it as a regular PC for my new Pen Display, is this possible? I need to know if it will work before going ahead and purchasing a larger Pen Display because I live in a country where none of these units are available, I'll have to order them online and therefore cannot test them before purchasing them. Also, between the Huion GT-220 and Ugee 2150, which would you recommend? The Ugee 2150 is $200 cheaper than the Huion GT-220 here, I want to know if the Ugee is as good or hopefully better than the Huion, especially the color accuracy of the display and accuracy of the pen.I would greatly appreciate your help with this issue, I would like to be able to order a larger Pen Display within this week as it will take a month for it to arrive.Thank you very much.
I have an Ezpad tablet which uses a 10.6' panel with Wacom EMR like the Surface Pro 2. I also have a 20' Yiynova with UC-Logic tech, which is the same tech used in the Ugee. To answer your question, we need to understand that that there are two kind of driver:-Wintab which works with legacy app like Sai, Photoshop CS6 and lower, Krita, Fire Aplaca. Wintab driver have to be distributed by the digitizer manufacturers (eg: Wacom Feel Driver From Wacom site, Yiynova driver from Yiynova site.) and are often conflict with each other.- Windows Ink: newer ink driver which come in default with Windows 10, it can recognize most kind of pen digitizer by just plug and play, and can use preassure with Windows built in App or traditional x86 Softwares that was built to support Windows Ink. Example are Sketchbook ( both desktop and App version), Sketchable, Rebelle. The downside is while the number of supported software is growing, it's still not comparable to Wintab supported, and there is zero FREE program that is fully functional in this category.Wintab and Windows Ink can peacefully coexist in the same system, you can use both programs that use Wintab and app that use Windows ink at the same time. Clip Studio Paint is a special cases where you can switch between Wintab and Windows Ink model, it has the boardest support so any drawing monitor you buy is 90% warranted to work with CSP.- I had unintalled Wacom Feel Driver before plugging and installing the Yiynova driver in the EZpad and the Yiynova pressure sensitive worked well with CSP. Open source farm management software.
I also tried Photoshop CS2 and it also worked on Yiynova screen with pressure. I can still use Wacom pen on the Ezpad screen, but no pressure while the Yiynova is plugged in.-Sai 2 is fully functional with pressure on Yiynova. But the older version of Sai not only does not pick up pressure, it also freeze the cursor, and you can't use the pointer until you minimize Sai with a mouse. There are fix that help you move the cursor in Sai but no pressure. This seem to happen on other China brand tablet like Ugee and Huion as well so if you have to use Sai, I caution you against it.

Both tablets are full HD, both have 8000+ levels of pressure sensitivity, and both are currently within my price range.they work well with the photoshop.Things to consider;Cintiq Pro:1) Has almost no parallax.2) Eraser on pen, no need for charging.3) Professional Color reproduction.XP-Pen Artist 22E Pro:1) HUGE SCREEN!2) XP-Pen Customer support blows Wacom out of the water.3) Much less nib-wear than Cintiq Pro.I think the biggest things you need to consider for this case are the size, expresskeys, and parallax.Size:A 22-inch monitor like the XP-Pen Artist 22E Pro takes up a LOT of desk space. If you don't have much desk space in the first place, you might need to buy a mount or arm to hold up the monitor in a comfortable position to draw on. If you have an L-shaped table layout, then you could put the drawing monitor on the side table, and the main keyboard and computer on the main table, but for a single table it's hard to imagine where you can put a 22-inch monitor without it getting in the way.On the other hand, a 13-inch tablet like the Wacom Cintiq Pro 13 will be much easier to make desk space for. Click to expand.I have heard rave reviews of Artist 12. Can you confirm if Artist 12 -. has any parallax?. has 1gram initial activation force like Wacom cintiq pro 13?There are no physical stores in my country where i can test these tablets for myself.
I was originally planning to decide between ipad pro 2018 vs cintiq 13 pro. But now after this very underwhelming ipad pro 2018 announcement, when i went to wacom India site to place an order for the 13inch cintiq pro, i found it was out of stock. So, since last night i am seeing reviews of every possible cintiq pro alternative available in my country.
